South Point - Big Island

Aloha shutter friends!
Today I'm sharing two images from South Point, Hawai'i, which is the southernmost point in the U.S. It's a landscape one might not expect to be synonymous with tropical paradise; a sprawling desert grassland abruptly ending atop crumbly cliffs, where the mighty Pacific rages below.
The wind was high, gusting around 30+ knots, so flying the drone was a challenge, to say the least.
The pano in this pair is a 19 image photomerge. The wind caused enough variation in each shot to make for a bit of extra work on the merge, but it's always fun to become better out of necessity.
Enjoy the set, Mahalo for viewing!

Nice JBR! I like the car in first, it gives the scale!
Mahalo Taz, and yep, you know me... Leaving those human elements in where I can
Great captures, always enjoy your airborne images. Love that area down there. The southern most point of the 50 states. The locals have an unique way of fishing off of the cliffs near the old navel base, then there is the cliff jumping and that rickety old ladder to get back up . Green sand beaches worth a visit also.
