Thanks to all who participated in the challenge! It was really great to see everyone's agricultural impressions (@grandmaR your paintings were wonderful!). Forgive me, but this time I don't have time to go into a lot of detail - so without further ado, here are the results:
HM:
@JAG 1. Irrigation fo an Idaho farm
Joyce, I love the mood of the photo, but I wish the foreground were just the slightest bit lighter.
@pegelli 3. Agriculture, can be inside and outside
Pieter, I enjoyed the starkness of the photo and the way the different lines lead the eye.
THIRD PLACE:
@DavidRGillespie 1. A cattle chute in BC
David - a very nice set of three but this one was my favorite. Nice composition and post-processing.
SECOND PLACE:
@Cavalier 1. Shenandoah Valley, Amador County, California, near the Sierra Nevada Foothills. The "other" Napa Valley. 
Jo, this was my favorite from your strong set.
THE WINNER!
@bfluegie 2. Taro field near Hanalei, Kauai
Barbara, a strong set of three - for me this one captured the spirit of the theme very well and I liked the composition with the curve of the canal, the nearaby mountain and the changing weather. So, now you get to lead the next mini!

Congratulations to all - the winning photo is one that I would have loved to have taken when I was in that part of the world.
Thanks Sara for the second place! Congrats to all and especially Barbara for great island shots. (I didn't know that taro grew that way!)

Wow! There were so many great photos for this challenge. Thank you so much @sarasphotos for the first place nod. I really didn't expect it given the competition. Congrats to David and Jo, and the HMs as well. Since I didn't expect to win I will probably take a day to get up the next challenge. I do have a couple of ideas so it shouldn't take too long.
