Well, it's just low-flying clouds racing through the valleys.
I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

Thanks, Taz. As I was shooting this scene, a massive cloud group was moving in on my position....contributing to the muted look of the nearby ranges. Within minutes, I couldn't even see the closest range at the very bottom of the frame.
If you look at it, you can see that the winds hitting the sides of the far range are pushing the clouds ever upward. These impressive updrafts produce the lift the sailplane pilots are always seeking. A good pilot with good winds can stay aloft for hours if they want to.
