    You're being too hard on yourself those are good shots. Since you've got a feeder in your yard, you might try sitting out closer to it. I'm surprised how close the birds will come in if you sit really quiet and wait for them to come to you. A natural perch would also give some added shine to the shots.

    Thanks Steve. The birds are fine if it is just me, it's me with the camera, they aren't quite use to that yet.:): There is a maple branch above the feeder but I always muff those (lighting). You have given me a great idea on a better spot for the feeder, THANKS a bunch!
