Around Sunset Crater, Arizona

I've often photographed this area. I went back yet again in the hope of rampant wildflowers and perhaps some good light and was a little disappointed in both regards, but it was great camping weather and I had a blast. Criticism is always welcome.
1 Not in the national monument but nearby.
2 Sunset Crater itself.
3 Same place as number two but looking in the opposite direction.
4 Flowers and a fallen ponderosa pine.
5 Not a crowd-pleaser but it captured a mood for me.
Thanks for looking.

The first image is my favorite. The curves and lines complement the tree and its shadow.

Thanks, Denise. That's my favorite as well.

I like the first one the best as well, but I think the second image has potential also.
If the second image were mine I would put some modest, subtle light on the yellow flowers to help them catch and hold my eye better, and I might darken the sky just the slightest bit if I could do that and lighten the trees on the horizon to the left also, so they are not quite a dark green blob.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll try those changes. Because I was using a three-stop ND grad, though, the trees on the left may be doomed to blobhood.
