On sunday I went to the nearest national park, which is called the Oxley Wild Rivers NP. The section I went to is called Gara Gorge. It used to be smal hydro-electric scheme a long time ago. It really is just the edge of a very very large gorge system that runs east towards the coast. Its full of wonderful granite formations, creeks, fishing spots. I had not been walking there in a while but it seemed to be the smaller details which were grabbing my attention the most.
just at the begginning of the descent into the gorge is this waterhole, which was full for the first time in well over 18months. Maybe these kids (about 17 I think) should be in the sport section....Or maybe the lunatic section
without any zoom (I was up higher than they were)

Anyhow, good work and hopefully you can shoot this place again under softer lighting

It is a shame when our lives don't coordinate with our photography. You did quite well in dealing with the lighting you had. The great thing is that you have this site with lots of photo ops that you can go back to when you have some better light.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
