My wife and I just returned from a trip to central Oregon. Photography was secondary but I got some opportunities. It was overcast and often raining or snowing--not bad conditions, but not the conditions a desert rat is used to. Criticism is always appreciated.

Wow - that last one blew me away (no pun intended) lots of dramatic story going on in that one. love the detail and color. Boggles my mind. #4 is my next fave - the calm wavy looks of the logs and the torrent of rapid water then beautiful color; nice layers. # 2 is really nice. It reminds me of a Bob Ross painting and it isn't overly done. Gives me a chill. A really, really nice set.
Thanks very much, AnnaMaria!

Nice set Don. I love the balance and subtle colors of No. 1 and 4 & 5 are both also very special - it's so great to see the snow with the glowing fall colors.
Thanks very much, Sara. Oregon's forests consist mainly of conifers but there was great color along the rivers and streams.

I love the sense of motion in #4 and the subtle quiet of #2.

4 and #5 are stunning Don....literally!
Thanks very much, Taz! I had to use a high ISO to freeze the snowflakes in the dim light, but these days higher ISOs don't wreck photos the way they used to.
