It works flipped portrait format quite well

These are purdy, indeed! If I may be so bold as to offer, I think if you cropped the last shot from the top left corner, so that the bare section of tree trunks is eliminated, the leading diagonal lines of tall trees, short trees, and road will balance a bit better. But no matter what, these are great shots, and I love 'em all.

Iknow what you mean , i did try cropping a few of frames that are similar , but in my eyes the bare trunks give a feeling of more depth/height to the image.

All of them are lushly beautiful but 2 jumps out at me. I like the comp in the last one - interesting.
