Smart Galleries Creation

Can we please clean up the process of creating a smart gallery? If I start in Organizer create the gallery then setup smart rules it dumps me out of Organizers and into the individual gallery. I would just like to stay in Organizer and not have to go through so many clicks. It is almost like you are still using the old SM stuff to setup Smart Galleries.

I think it's fair to say that we are still using the Old SmugMug stuff for Smart Galleries. While we totally concur that the Smart Gallery creation needs some love (having to create a gallery, then go back into the settings to get to Smart Settings is just rediculous!), we've been hard at work on a number of other high priority items and haven't had a chance to get to Smart Galleries just yet.

Honestly, Smart Galleries is what sets me apart from my competitors, creating 75 galleries then doing the Smart Galleries for a football team is ALOT of work. I tried using the LR plugin but it doesn't set them up on Smugmug it is only local. Maybe fixing the LR plugin would work. Volleyball, Boys and Girls basketball is smaller but all the clicking is just so much work. I honestly am tired of waiting. Just giving honest feedback. Nobody else has this feature on other providers I have asked around for years!! Please clean it up VERY SOON!!

Any update on moving Smart Gallery creation to 2.0?

We do not have an update at this time. Though we've got some exciting things in the works (for example, we recently launched SSL for Custom Domains, continuous improvements to the shopping cart, search in our Android app, and a lot more coming).
