IOS system report says I am using 15GB in the MAIL APP

I need to make room on my computer. while trying to manage my storage on item is MAIL APP saying I am using 15gb of space, but in the MAIL app I have 6 messages. I cannot delete the program because it is part of IOS. How do I get to this folder to delete the 15gb of stuff?

Please check the trash folder in mail and clear items from trash folder...
