reflectors.
Buy the biggest one you think you'll need. And as suggested, use a light
stand and one of these to hold it.
Good luck!
Ian
I started my studio on the cheap. I went with this reflector:

for $65. I use a stand to hold it up. I had a microphone stand with a boom hanging about that I use, or sometimes I use a light stand.
And I use these to attach:

The feeling I get about this lighting equipment is you keep adding to your toolbox as you go. New projects pose new problems. Nothing is wasted.
I've been happy with this reflector. It's big enough to be used as a light source, the 2 different sides are fun, and it folds up for travel.
good luck with your shoot!
Trish
But definately get the stand. It's worth every penny.
As a side note, if you find yourself in a bind and can't get your hands on some bounces for whatever the reason, I've cheated and used some white foam core as bounce cards. They worked out OK, but I still wish I had the real bounces.
