Limited number of photos in slideshow.

If I have say 5 photos within a gallery, which is the best way to contain just those 5 in a full size slideshow?
I know I can can click on a photo, go to the bottom right and click on share, gallery, how do I stop it then cycling through everything in the gallery.
Do I have to put just those 5 in a separate gallery?

The slideshow content element allows you to specify where the photos are located. You can pull from a gallery, from a keyword, or from photos that you choose.

The same options are available for the background slideshow.

If you're asking about the slideshow button in a gallery, I'm not aware of any way to change the behavior - it shows all of the photos in the gallery.
