Swimming in the deep end again without my water wings and I seem to have messed up a link so my HOMEPAGE POPUP and SLIDESHOW don't load.
Tried to fix it but no luck.

Did you fix this? I'm seeing both a popup (although it is your logo, not the previous popup) and then once your homepage loads the slideshow starts. It was successful for me in 3 browsers, Chrome, Firefox, and Edge.
