Move image title on journal above each image?

Is there an easy way to move the image title in the journal gallery to above the image, while leaving the description (and tags) below the image?

I know the title can be moved, but the problem is that it's seemingly impossible to deal with images of different heights and keep the title in the same position relative to the top of the photo. I've mocked this up:

The image toolbar positioning is easy enough - that is done, but I can't find any way to achieve what I want with the title. The CSS that deals with the title is:

.sm-user-ui .sm-tile-info .sm-tile-title { color: #ffffff; }

Any ideas? I'm a bit lost at the moment.
