    I'd love to see this in color. B&W and sunrise just doesn't evoke any emotion with me.

    For me yes... :)

    B&W was a different medium, not comparable to color pic. Some people like, others no... It's the life :)

    For me, I like each one for their individual quality.

    For you, the color version will come. Thanks to visit !

    Color is fantastic! Look at all those rich brown and blue tones. Am I alone?

    I agree, though you're not really losing any sunrise colors in this image. Still, for me color is the default in landscape--I don't see that you gain much by using B&W in this one. Perhaps the deep shadows of the closest hills are better, but I would try to lighten those in both versions.

    Full disclosure: I've never been an Ansel Adams fan.

    Thank you all. I always do the color version and then I have fun doing the B & W version. I don't keep it if it is not good and I keep it otherwise. I have always loved B & W.

    Moral: everyone goes with their personal tastes ...
