Attempted my first go at the 'Inception shot' using an old pier. I learned a lot in creating this one, excited to get out and try other types of this and refine the process and outcome. But for now, here ya' go!

Interesting shot. Not sure what I'm supposed to be seeing here.
Can I make an image size suggestion? What you uploaded was 8,640 x 11,520 pixels in size. Absolutely too huge for a forum such as ours, and huge enough to just about freeze my browser and take my 35M connection 25 seconds to display it. Not only that, but anyone can steal your original size file that way, which should be a security issue to anyone posting originals.
What would be best, going forward, is to upload something smaller, say 1280 to 1500 pixels on the longest side. Many forum visitors don't have 100M connections or 8/16 GIG RAM to view this. Thanks.

I like this shot, how did you achieve the bending effect? Cool.
I agree with the file size comment, it took forever to load.

For those wondering how to achieve this effect, this seems to be a pretty popular Youtube tutorial:

Thanks all for the sizing flag...I didn't realize it would choke up everyone's machines so badly. I've resized the original display.
Thanks Ziggy for posting the Flatland Tutorial link. That's exactly the link I used for reference!
A few things about this image...the pier is too short, and I made the bend too gradual. Next time...
It's original view. I like this point of view ans perspective.
The new, smaller size loaded extremely fast for me this time. Thanks!

Wow! I have nothing else to add.
