Any way to do this? I figure it would make customisation much easier (make it easier to inspect elements, etc.). Thanks!

I'm not aware of a method to turn it off when you are logged in.
Have you considered turning right click protection off?
You have your images limited to small copies for display so it's unlikely someone will be able to get a good print from the image. I just saved an image from your site and checked that you do have copyright information embedded. (Yes, I've already deleted the image from my computer - but you should know that it's very easy to grab the location of the image from the browser cache and save it from there.)

Thanks for the input Denise!
I could do I suppose if there isn't a better option! I know that it's easy enough to save images even with the protection on but I guess it's one of those things where people are less likely to copy them if it is at least slightly more tricky!

There should be a download button for you as the owner even if the download button is normally disabled (and even if right click is on), so you should be able as the owner to still download the image at full resolution.
It's not the downloading of photos that is the issue Ferguson, it's more so I can easily right click on things and 'Inspect Element', makes CSS customisation, etc. easier as it's much quicker to work out the element name, etc.
