First Attempt at Posting

Bear with me folks, this is the first time I've tried to post anything. These were some children waiting for the Amtrak.

    This was taken in the (fairly) early morning and those arches are very deep, so I had shadows all over the place. I upped the contrast using levels/curves and then converted to b&w using channel master. I lowered red and green way down, upped the blue channel to the max. I fooled around until I got something that I liked, and then dodged and burned to finish off.

    That's a rough approximation of what I did. I'm not disciplined enough to keep copious work notes. ne_nau.gif
