Bulk directory and gallery creation

Hello,
I have hundreds of directories with images on my computer organized by year, date and event. I need to bulk create the directories and galleries structure on smugmug before i start publishing images into them from Lightroom or uploading any other way.
Could anyone please tell me how I can bulk create these with either API or with any existing tool or method.

Just hop into the Organizer on SmugMug, go to or create a folder to contain them, and then click the upload button. Drag the folder into the window and we’ll automatically create folders and galleries based on your folder structure and upload the photos into them.
