Having a problem a custom domain using fasthost

Sorry if this has been brought up before but when I web forward my site where my domain is I can't remove the http:/ in the web address as it should not be there it should only be www to work with smugmug, Is there anyway around this. My domain is with fasthost in the UK

You shouldn't be forwarding your site. The setup for SmugMug uses a CNAME pointing to domains.smugmug.com.
