It's interesting and different. I think you did it well. What I take to be spilled wine at the bottom, though, is darker and more saturated than what's in the glass, and it doesn't quite ring true for me. But that's just me.

Thanks Cornflake for the comment
I thought about that issue but I realized there is a light source behind the glass
In any event... it's just fantasy...
Here's another one.... apparently I have leaky glasses & bottles... (printed 48 X 60)
I wouldn't drink any wine made with grapes in that condition.

It's a nice idea. The color difference doesn't bother me but I don't much care for the big black blob. I don't really understand what it is or why it's there. In any event, I think it's a distraction.
Did anybody here ever hear of noble rot?
Grapes left on the vine past the season are used to make a late harvest desert wine , like late harvest zinfandel
Most people like it but don't know of it
When I opened the bottle it had an incredible amount of sediment (not unusual - especially for a wine from 1997)
I missed the blob also and it annoys me - but it is what it is...
BTW I'm half finished with the wine and it's rather good... cheers
Thanks for the look in and the comments
Good work, I like the second one better. I think the first one is a bit "forced".

I agree... but it's my brides idea and I would never tell her that...
Thanks for the comment Juano
Cool shots Rags!
I like no 2 and am a particular fan of late harvest/old vine Zinfandels.
Thanks guys...
