First macro of the year at last

Actually managed to get out with the macro gear today , bit of a disaster in fact,
went to whixall moss in shropshire , first up my canon off camera lead must have a conection problem as half the time the flash wouldnt work , then half the shots were blown out. missed some good shots because of this, in the end i only got these 2 images

mpe on 5dsr. single frames

tiny weevil , 2-3 mm shot at x4 mag and cropped , im out of practise, the other frames i shot for a focus stack were all miss focused. Doh!

Yes and a new flash cable! canon one is now £52 !!!!!!!!!!
