A snakefly .... a new insect for me

This is the first time that I have seen one of these. A weird beast, the snake fly. I am not sure which one it is - on the Swiss-French border in the Alsace. So far I have not got further than the order Raphidoptera. There are apparently 11 species in France .... a lot of which look very similar.
