These little parrots are all over south Maui, commonly known as 'lovebirds'. They're fast like fighter jets, and squawk like a jungle bird, but they are very social. This little one is not very old, still figuring out how to fly more than a few feet at a time. I spotted it napping in the lime tree behind the house, so I grabbed a camera and got into stealth mode.

Sweet JBR!
Mahalo Taz!
A 24-70 is a tough lens to use for birds in my hands.
You GOT the bird!! Cool critter.
Is the brown blur on the right lower corner necessary to the image?? I'm playing Taz's role here.
