Journal Style Galleries - Full width caption

Hi - I have been experimenting with making the caption of an image in a 'journal style' gallery full width.
I am stumped ! Any thoughts ?

Could you please post a link to the gallery, which you are trying to edit? This will be easier for everyone to see your layout and suggest a solution for your answer.

I was able to increase the width by adding this CSS:

.sm-tile-caption {width: 1000px ;}

Using a percentage didn't work, and making the width larger than 1000px didn't make a difference. Perhaps someone else has a better solution.

You may want to make the CSS specific to this gallery.

interestingly enough, I later tried this same CSS in one of my galleries and it didn't work. It worked for your site using Web Developer, but given my own experience, I wonder if it will work in your site. Please let me know!
