Carousel Click-Through?

I use Carousel on my home page to display images from a Personal Favorites gallery. I have been looking for a way to enable clicks on the images to open them in the gallery, or as a fall-back, a click on the Carousel title to the said gallery. There doesn't seem to be a way within the SM options, so wondering if anyone has created a hack?
