I like these a lot. I have some along these same lines shot from a car in motion (Road Trip)

I found a nifty little trick. I have a Canon 650 , I managed to aquire some old lens and asked around with friends and family if they had any old lens . I got myself a converter ring , and then I used a very old 2 X converter on a very old 200 mil lens. You will have to manually focus if you use a converter lens.

But here is the thing , I found the lens were very "slow" , I could keep the shutter open longer on these old lens than if i used my 17-35 Canon Lens . I also did not have to use a neutral density filter , but with some experimenting and loads of swearing ..LOL.. I managed to get some wonderful photos of birds in motion.
