missing galleries

seems i havent worked on my site in ages, but i know i never ever deleted any of my galleries. Any gallery what was a numbered gallery versus an actual named gallery my site can no longer find.
im assuming SM made some more changes i wasnt aware of until now. are these galleries gone for good or...?
