A windshield view to remember

A couple days ago I had to do some island hopping, which always equates to photo-op for me. I prefer using the small commuter planes to hop around because the experience overall is more fun, the windows are larger, and the planes fly a little bit slower, which gives more time for photographing things.
Today's shot...a view of Mauna Kea (moun-ah-kay-ah), the highest peak in Hawai'i, located on the Big Island (Hawai'i). The peak reaches out of the ocean almost 14,000ft ASL, so it's still a beautiful sight to see when flying around 7-8,000ft ASL. Enjoy!

That looks like fun! Did you get any closer to Mauna Kea that this?

Yes, we landed in Kona, so there's a decent view of the island's features upon approach.
