Video Metadata - Especially Date/Time!

I know video metadata (including date/time information) is a real mess because of lack of industry-wide standard and many proprietary formats. However, it would be very useful if Smugmug would allow some minor adding/editing of metadata for videos, in particular allowing users to add date/time the video was taken (i.e., was started). Among other benefits, this would allow sorting of galleries by date (which can be easily done when only still images are in a gallery). Currently, I find the easiest approach is to sort the gallery by date, then change to manual sort and move the videos to their appropriate spot, but this is awkward.

I don't think I'm the only one who would benefit from this.
