Been playing around with HDR (High Dynamic Range) in CS2
Here's some of the results.

Still needs lots of work but fun to play with.

Thanks for the look

Pretty slick stuff, that hdr tool can do. The first two look good. The third seems too overcooked for my taste though.

What did they start out as, can you post some tiny examples?

The only thing I don't like about the last one is the tugs are not sharp
Just can't seem to make those boats hold still

But you right it's a little over done it's just so hard to stop.:D

I will have to up load some shots to show how they started
I know one of these shots was 10 different photos
I'll pop some on here in a little bit

    Thanks David for commenting

Here's the last one 8 shots in RAW
I unchecked all auto boxes in camers RAW
    Then choose File>Automate>Merge to HDR
Also went into LAB for adjustments

I think it made a big difference

Very nice. That's a tool I still haven't tried to use. What is the benefit of that mode as opposed to blending bracketed shots via layers?

I have tried both ways and it seems to me thet HDR brings out more shadow areas.
But also it seems HDR blows out the highlight areas
I not sure why this happens still trying to figure it out.

The image is 32 bit so when you convert to 8 there is some loss in the image.

    Thanks for the comments
