I went up to Snow Bowl in Flagstaff this past weekend to see if any of the aspens had turned. They hadn't, but the soft subtle tones of the flora around these aspen trunks were sublime, and mesmerized me. Hope you enjoy.

You're right - the pastel colors of the ferns are beautiful. The darker reds in the background makes one want to walk back to look at them too. Lovely shot, Dan.

I really like this shot. I believe you meant to use the term " flora ' as opposed to " fauna ". Fauna refers to animals, flora refers to plants.
