This is the best and worst sides of the BMPCC 4K (Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K). After 1,000 hours shooting with this camera, there's a few things you need to know before you shoot on this camera professionally. You'll need an external battery and a cage at least. Let's take a real world look at this camera...
It took me a while to put together this video, but I really wanted to do it. These are my honest thoughts about the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K after 12 months of intense use.
It's been a year since I got this camera and I couldn't be more happy with my purchase. Somehow Blackmagic was able to deliver a truly revolutionary cinema camera with great dynamic range, a beautiful color science, amazing codec and insane reliability, all in a very compact form factor.
Note: Blackmagic DID NOT pay me (they didn't even send me a camera actually). So everything I say in this video is just my honest opinion, nothing else.
