Usually I'm not a fan of sunset pictures, but this one was fantastic, just wanted to share...

    OK, so I'm sure it was awesome to see. But perhaps the reason you're not a fan of sunsets is that photographs just don't do them justice. Color gamut might be part of the problem, but I think fundamentally there's just not enough dynamic range to capture the experience. Maybe the key is to have something else of interest in the foreground, hopefully illuminated by magical light. Sort of like full moon shots--not really of much interest when it's just the moon, but very dramatic when something else recognizable is in the frame. Just my € .02.

    Light is what we always hope and chase......

    From processing point of view.....I think you could brighten sky tad.....the light source could be much brighter....close to being blown out......

    Not sure if fg has anything useful.....sometimes single shot works, and grad filter can bring out the details some.......

    Otherwise.....need separate exposure for fg....
