Some people fly to Maui, others float! Parked just over a mile off shore, the behemoth caught my eye, so I couldn't resist sending the little flying camera.

On this particular day, the conditions were just right - bright sunshine, a moderate cloud cover, and the sun still far enough east to keep the glare off the water. Of course, the ND / CP filter I use also helps with that a great deal  One of these images is a 9 shot pano. I'll let you guess which!

Great stuff, as usual, JonaBeth. I guess that huge wing on the back of the ship provides downforce when speeds get up to 12 knots. It wouldn't look good if that big thing went airborne. Car guys will know what I'm talking about.

I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

    Wow...

Look at the stacks... it must run on diesel engines (I wonder how many gallons it carries)

You're getting a lot of use out of that drone... good on you..
