Has there been any consideration into giving Smugmug account holders a Pro account on Flickr?
I have no desire to have to pay twice.

If we choose to keep our Flickr account, where and how do we pay for it? There was also a SmugMug discount code mentioned. However, I cannot locate where and how we make our payment to keep our Flickr “Pro” account active?
Thanks

I don't envision Smugmug providing a free Flickr Pro subscription to all of us, but I would suggest that it might be worth adding it as a perk to those on the 'Pro' level plans.
For double the cost, there really isn't much of an incentive I imagine for most to go from a 'Portfolio' to 'Pro' plan, as there isn't that much of a difference in features. Perhaps if they threw in a Flickr Pro membership it might sweeten the deal?

Food for thought on the Flickr Pro idea. You can suggest this as feature request on our User Voice page:

Are these choices only available to the top (most expensive) tier? I have the next one down and am curious if these choices are available for my package.
Disregard my l last response. I see I have the Portfolio account.
I just asked about this on Twitter but got no response. I have a Flickr free account and they’ll be deleting many of my photos soon because of the 1,000 item upcoming limit for free accounts. SmugMug is just trying to monetize their Flickr acquisition ASAP, giving out free accounts to their existing customers won’t help with that goal.
I imagine the number of existing SM members is far far outweighed by the number of Flickr members such that any financial or technical hits incurred by the company would be negligible. After all, don't both sites offer unlimited online storage for the neighborhood of $50/yr? One could thing Flickr could mirror Smug photos (or selected Smug photos, ala Smug Smart Galleries) for not much cost instead of having users upload twice.
