Can't use Facebook Pixel? Say it isn't so...

I'm stunned to find out that SM apparently doesn't support the Facebook Pixel. One of the big reasons I just set up here is to market via FB, and the 'pixel' is an important part of that marketing. I just assumed SM supported it. Why wouldn't they?

Has anyone found a way to insert the necessary code in a SmugMug site?
Has there been any word from SM about adding direct support? If not, why not?

    Facebook Pixel is not supported at this time. The code can't be added to the site as it contains script and that is not permitted on the site as it tends to break things.
