Moose at Moosehead

Got lucky on these. Came around the corner and there he was drinking the salty water from a puddle and my camera was ready to fire.

Moosehead Lake, Greenville, Maine.

    Yeah, that was the part where I became a bit nervous. He decided to walk off into the woods after checking me out for about 10 seconds. We just looked at each other, he vanished and it was over.

    I've never seen a moose in real life, period. I grew up in New England too, it took 38 years to see one of these things. And they say north of Portland they outnumber people.
