License Question

Hi all,
I have a quite basic question. I use Lightroom for organizing my picture and there is an option to insert copyright information into the metadata of the picture. Does it make sense to insert this those? Or is it useless?
Another question would be, are there any licenses available I can use like it is for opensource software?

I once successfully forced the takedown of an image of mine because the guy who nicked it was too lazy to wipe my copyright from the metadata. Google Images has filters for usage rights and I imagine they must be gleaning those from the metadata, as I don't know how else they would know. Now none of that guarantees that your work won't get stolen, but it will provide guidance to people of good will.
There are a half a dozen licenses freely available from Creative Commons: https://creativecommons.org/licenses/
I know I cannot enforce the license but it would at least guide people who would like to behave as they would normally in real life.
thanks for the link, I thought this was just for software but you can apply them to everything. thanks for the hint.
