I needed a little break from editing today, so I grabbed my camera pack, jacked my wife's scooter, stopped for food, and sat down at a nearby beach park for lunch. Turned out to be a lunchtime spot for many!
These images were shot on a Sony a7r3 + Canon 75-300, hand-held, manually focused (because nothing focuses as fast as tiny birds move it seems lol).

These are really sharp, Jona. I'm assuming you're using focusing assist (zebra or whatever it's called) for manual focus? I'd like to see you do that with a whale breach.

Kdog - I do use focus assist, and love it! It makes my manual focus journey so sweet. While not full on breeches, here are a couple frames of manually focused tail slaps.
