Code to change mobile phone home page slideshow display

Hi There:

Hoping someone can help with some code. On mobile phones my home page slideshow gets cut off, on the sides. I wonder if there is code to change this? I have the slideshow as the background of the homepage, not a content block, which is what I want (so it goes to the edges.)

Your help would be greatly appreciated.

That's how it's supposed to work. You have a landscape image and now as the screen gets smaller, it's going to crop the edges, like a portrait image.

Thanks for your comment Mike. Yes, it seems that's how it's supposed to work, but unfortunately it doesn't look good on a phone -- which is why I was looking for code. I have the same design on another host, and it looks good on phones too - they keep the landscape shape even on a portrait phone (www.studioRboudoir.com) Was attempting to migrate my boudoir site to smugmug since closing portrait side of business down (which was on smugmug), but am having trouble with the phone part........... Thanks for your feedback.

I can take a look later once my kids go to bed, as your site isn't exactly "family friendly".

I don't own a mobile device, so I either use Screenfly or just resize my browser window to replicate a mobile. From what I can see, your Wix site crops it from the right and SmugMug crops them in the center (left and right side). So they both crop them. Ever try to put an 8 x 12 print in a 8 x 10 frame or vice-versa? Something has to give.

I'm not aware of anything you're going to do about it. Maybe SM can add an option of cropping image backgrounds.

Yeah I get cropping. Wix doesn't crop on a mobile device, it looks good. I can also format how it will look on a mobile device separately - I think SM needs that feature. Thanks anyway, I appreciate it.

Can you post a screenshot of your Wix site using a mobile? I find it hard to believe they are doing some cropping.

Looks like it's one of those rare cases that I need a real mobile device to see it in person and see if there is a "fix".
