When I go to all galleries as laid out in this article, I don't see the lightbox options, what am I missing?

Must have been an option a long time ago. I've never seen it and I don't see it either.
EDIT: See my comment below.

I still have the "Lightbox" customization options, but it doesn't show up under "All Galleries". I have all my various galleries set to be independent of the All Galleries customizations though, so that might be why the option with the Lightbox shows up.

It must have been late last night. I looked again and I have that option same as @Shinrya. My Galleries are NOT independent. It's possible that your plan doesn't offer customizations to the Lightbox.

Hmm I do see it if I go to a gallery first, if I just click on all galleries then it doesn't show. Seems like a small bug. Thanks guys!
It does make sense. The Lighbox only shows on Galleries, so to edit the Lightbox, you have to be ON one of the Galleries. Probably why it didn't work last night as I opened up my testing page or my home page and not a Gallery.

What @Hikin' Mike said ... we try to display a sample of what the item would look like, so if you haven’t started on a gallery first, we can’t show you what the changes to those gallery settings will look like. We only display those settings if you start on a gallery first.
I’ve never been a huge fan of that interaction and it’s something I’d love to change so that it’s easier to find the Lightbox and other customizations ... but that’ll be something for the much further off future while we focus on some other big things that are in the works!

Lightbox customization is NOT anywhere I can locate, and I've turned over every rock. Selecting a Gallery doesn't provide any useful options.
In spite of many claims in prior months, is the new Lightbox NOT available on all plans? Do I have to pay twice as much just to control display of Title (which I don't use) and Caption (which I do use)?
PS: The Title that SM displays (on just some of my photos) seems to be an obscure field/tag that I can't find in any of my many image editors. But some of my really old photos have it. If I can't disable display I guess I need to blank out the tag, but first I have to find a way to see it in a useful editor. What is it called and where might it originate?
The new Lightbox is available on all plans, as you should see it when browsing your photos.
We originally opted to only show the title and buy button on top of the photo, to keep the photo as clean as possible, but on Monday or Tuesday the caption will return thanks to great feedback from many of you.
For those on the power, portfolio and pro plans you can choose whether the title, caption and keywords are displayed in the sidebar. Disabling title will also turn it off on top of the photo.
The Lightbox customizations can be found in the customizer if you first start on a gallery. Then choose Customize and then “Content and Design”. On the content tab look for “Lightbox”.
We currently don’t have the new Lightbox hooked up to the Customizer, so you won’t see any of the settings change but they will be honored in the new Lightbox. We’re working on fixing that in the near future so only the settings that apply to the new Lightbox are shown and you can see how the settings impact the Lightbox.
But the main answer to your question is that captions will be displayed on top of the photo when we push an update on Monday or Tuesday

I'm missing something...or it's not there. Customize > Content and Design > Content then lists Profile, Galleries, Folders, other blocks that could be added. But nothing labeled or related to Lightbox.
I've repeated all the steps you've stated in this and other messages, but have not found Lightbox anywhere. What else can I try?
How about a screenshot?
You have to have started on a gallery for Lightbox to show up, since we use that Gallery to show you what the settings would look like.

I have not discovered the screen you show, nothing that mentions "All" anything. I've tried creating a new gallery, looking at every option and button as I go, nada. Same with editing an existing gallery. I only see the Content tab items I mentioned.

I found the Lightbox options, but can't find any that remove the filename overlay on the fullscreen image:
I have set Title, Caption and Keywords to 'off' to see if that would fix it, but it doesn't.
It's very disappointing that I now have weird text overlaying my images and can't remove it. Any suggestions?
The design of the Lightbox places the title and caption and buy button at the bottom of the photo. CSS has been shared at the link below for some Lightbox customizations, and #8 will help if you prefer to move those below the photo.
