Sony RX0 II (DSC-RX0M2) The 'Everyday' Action Camera?

Sony is no stranger to the "Action Camera" market. Their HDR and FDR lines have been available for some time. But the Sony RX0 emerged a little over a year ago as its first 1" sensor action camera. Indeed, you can still buy these brand new.
But now, the new Sony RX0 II emerges as the first Sony 1" action camera with a flippy screen. How does this change things?

Sony wants you to think of this camera as something you can take with you to get better image quality than most any cell phone camera, and that you can use as a vlogger cam. The 180 degree hinged display should help with the vlogging aspect, and 4k (internal) video is a great marketing point.

I'll be picking one of these up to fly on a gimbal under a drone. Shooting in S-log2 is a perfect way to match aerial footage with my A7R3 and A73 bodies.
