The lens was on my A7r at closest focus, at f11. The FOV was ca 170mm wide, the image cropped by about a third (area) to a FOV ca 150mm wide.
I purchased this lens for trips out with my A7r and wide angle lenses. It would be useful for photographing smallish subjects in the absence of a macro lens.
This hardy terrestrial orchid (Pleione "Rossini") has lots of detail in the flower.
The stereo is crosseye.
