Earlier this week I photographed this area for two days. Criticism would be welcome.
On the last morning there was snow.

Great set Don. I really love that storm light in the first image. Dark clouds in the back, with sunlight highlighting the trees. My only nit would be, a little more at the bottom of the trees, to anchor the whole image.

Thanks, Phil. I agree with your nit. There was junk at the bottom that I didn't want in the photo. When this great light suddenly developed, I couldn't immediately see a better way to frame around the junk. In the next to last photo, taken in the same spot the next morning, I found a solution, sort of.

Don, I understand. sometimes, light like that is so fleeting, that all we can do is to compose, shoot, compose shoot. Repeat. I like the fact that you returned, and explored the opportunity further.

My favorites are the second (I love fences!), third and last ones. I understand about the "junk" in the first image influencing your crop but like Phil I am a bit bugged by the lack of anchor in the bottom left.
Very nice series Don.
jerry, Sara, thank you both for the comments.

Nice work, Don. The last one is truly epic.
1 for me - the ominous clouds sets off the trees and beautiful light. Same with #3.
