Large Redeye Damselfly Erythromma najas Female

This year is 20 years after this species was first recorded in the UK. I did find a male:

I found a female last year but got only one usable image of it:

I had quite a struggle to identify the female. The males, when immature (teneral), can also be yellow but they lack the antehumeral yellow stripes on the dorsal side (anterior) of the thorax.

This encounter gave me a selection of images and a (crosseye) stereo pair.

Olympus EM-1 (aperture priority), Olympus 4/3 x2 TC, Olympus 4/3 50mm f2 macro, 1/80 or 1/50 at f10 ISO 800, hand-held.
