"Believe me, my young friend, there is nothing — absolutely nothing — half so much worth doing as simply messing about in boats."
The Wind in the Willows, by Kenneth Grahame
I really like these.
Yeah I like the concentration they have
Thank you. The last three were at the annual alumni work weeks at the Wooden Boat School. Alumni are invited back for two weeks in spring to prepare the school's fleet of boats for the coming season. It is always over subscribed. Note the gray hair... Who else but retirees are going to drop everything and spend two weeks in chilly May on the coast of Maine to mess' around with boats.
You are making me miss Maine--can't wait to get up later in the summer. I enjoy your boat shots so much. The concentration theme is so apparent.
Thanks Lauren but don't be surprised if it doesn't feel like summer when you get here. It has been cold and rainy all winter and spring and these past few days have been more of the same.
