@jwear Jeff, I bet it is really frustrating not to have internet at your house, but I am glad you got to participate in our challenges! Thank you for running this one and for your kind comments about my images. Congrats to @grandmaR for the tie in 3rd with me and to @DavidRGillespie (even though you tried to warn us to not consider yours because you are out of town) as 2nd place. Jeff, Thanks for running a great challenge. While this particular theme isn't my forte and I had no photos to enter (and not usually taking wildlife photos I wasn't sure where to go to get something new) I really enjoyed looking at the entries. Also, I think I would suffer serious withdrawal without internet at home. I feel for you. Congrats to Pieter @pegelli, @DavidRGillespie, Joyce @JAG, and @grandmaR for winning and placing.

THank you for running a really interesting mini, and thank you for the third place. I had another photo of the rooster that I took when he was crowing, and his eye got all milky when he was vocalizing. I was sorry I couldn't find many photos to enter - I know I have them but I just didn't have time to look for them. The warbling X-rated bird looked funny at the time I took the photo so when you set the mini, that was the first thing I thought of.

Thanks for the win and my new nickname Also congrats to JAG, GrandmaR and DavidRGillespie for the other high marking places. It was a fun challenge and I appreciate all the comments by jwear, despite the internet trouble.

I'll try to come up with something new in the coming days. I've got my thinking cap up, but no clear ideas yet
