HTML content block help

Any idea what the issue could be? I drag the HTML content box on to my page, paste the HTML code into the box, then click done. But the space where I placed the HTML content box is empty.

Did you "Publish Now"?

If you did, is the HTML block physically there, but the code is empty?

If the code is empty, what specific code did you put in, i.e post it here?

Where did you get the html? Tags like < html> < /html> < body> < /body> do not go into box.
