Dear Abbie needed some work done below the waterline. The wharf and a midday low tide cycle makes it convenient.

Two years ago Dear Abbie broke from her mooring and drifted onto a rocky shore, severely damaging her hull. A few months later she was at work, fishing lobster again, after a new, exact duplicate of the original hull was fitted with all of the original decking and superstructure, a new engine and electronics.... and long hard negotiation with the insurance company.
